I have to say the PRIME welder has blown my mind specifically when it comes to welding steel. It really works well with other metals too like aluminum, stainless steel and thinner steel material through the pulse function. In addition to that, the CK Dinse connector made in the USA, is a reliable and durable connector.

When Pulse Frequency and AC Frequency are set to 200Hz, this machine will no problem cut 1/4″ aluminum and 3/8″ mild steel. Clean, quality welds with little or no spatter is what the machine provides. It’s suitable for steel welding with 7018 and 6013 rods, two staples of steel welding, suitable for professional and DIY welders alike.

I particularly like the HF Start Hand Torch Control and the Precise Foot Pedal Heat Control. The precision of these features is amazing, I have incredible control when welding steel at multiple thicknesses or fine tuning the heat for delicate steel projects. I am able to control the heat so as not to burn through or warp with thinner steel materials and keep strength with thicker steel materials.
